Bold City Education Governing Board

The Bold City Education Governing Board is comprised of community supporters, educators, and parents committed to bringing tuition-free public charter schools to Duval County and the State of Florida.

Pursuant to Florida Statute 119.12 (2) the School's custodian of public records may be contacted as followed above. All emails sent to the board are subject to public records requests and Florida Sunshine Law.

إجراءات تظلم ولي الأمر

Bold City Education encourages parents and guardians to address concerns promptly to support student well-being and academic success.

1.  Contact the Classroom Teacher
         Discuss the concern directly with the teacher.

2.  Escalate to the School Principal
          If unresolved, contact the school principal.

3.  Contact the CEO
          If necessary, escalate the concern to the Chief Executive Officer.

4.  Submit to the Governing Board

If all previous steps have been followed and the concern remains unresolved, it may be submitted to the Governing Board for review.

All concerns must follow this order to ensure privacy, transparency, and fair resolution.

PLEASE NOTE: DATES ARE ONLY PROPOSED MEETING DATES AND TIMES. IN THE EVENT THAT THE DATE MUST BE CHANGED, A NOTICE WILL BE POSTED NO LATER THAN 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING.

Process for the Public to make comments at a Bold City Education Board Meeting:

Any person may submit written public comments by emailing publiccomments@boldcityed.org
at least 24 hours before the day of the Board meeting. Be advised that this email address will be used only for obtaining public comments for Bold City Education Board Meetings and should not be used for any other purpose or question.

  • Each individual must include his/her name, address, and what organization, if any, s/he represents.
  • Anonymous comments will not be accepted.

  • Comments with profanity or personal attacks will not be included.
  • All emails received will be retained as public records pursuant to Chapter 119, F.S.
